You can ask us to stop sending you marketing messages at any time by following the opt-out links on any marketing message we send you at any time. We also send out brochures on a quarterly basis. When you contact us you can request to be removed from these direct mail brochures.
Where you opt out of receiving these marketing messages, this will not apply to personal data provided to us as a result of a product purchase, guarantee registration, or other transactions.
You can opt out of Sarah Haran services that we provide at any time. We can remove your account from our BagsofJoy Facebook Group, or our SHwap Wardrobe service. Simply contact us and we will remove you.

Our Platform and Processing:
Our online store is hosted by Shopify Inc. Shopify provide the online e-commerce platform that allows Sarah Haran to sell our products and services. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. Shopify store your data on a secure server behind a firewall. If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. If you choose to pay using Paypal then Paypal will store your information in order to complete the payment transaction. Via Shopify there are appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. Third Party

Direct Mailers & SHwap PreLoved
On a quarterly basis we produce a direct mailer in the form of a brochure. This brochure is sent to all our customers and to prospects who may be interested in our products. As part of this we share customer data with both Experian and Abacus.
Experian
Your personal data is shared with Experian Ltd for the purposes of managing a service called Club Canvasse, a home shopping and direct retailer data co-operative of which Sarah Haran Accessories are members. By sharing information on what customers buy and pooling that with contributions from other members of the co-operative, the service allows Sarah Haran Accessories to better understand our customers and to communicate with you more effectively. Please note, your personal information is not shared with any of the other members of the co-operative, and only aggregated data on the number and value of purchases is provided to members e.g. we will receive a report which states how many customers who have bought from us in the last 0-12mths, and who have also bought from other members of the co-operative in the last 0-12mths, or the last 24mths, last 36mths etc. To understand more please click through to experian.co.uk/cip to understand more about their marketing services.
Abacus
We work with Epsilon Abacus (registered as Epsilon International UK Ltd), a company that manages the Abacus Alliance on behalf of UK retailers. The participating retailers are active in the clothing, collectables, food & wine, gardening, gadgets & entertainment, health & beauty, household goods, and home interiors categories. They share information on what their customers buy. Epsilon Abacus analyses this pooled information to understand consumer’s wider buying patterns. From this information, retailers can tailor their communications, sending people suitable offers that should be of interest to them, based on what they like to buy.
